Since 2016, Maia Schneider has been the Executive Director of Business and Strategy Development for Marshall. In her role, Maia identifies opportunities for growth and new services, manages complex projects, and works with operational teams to ensure their success. She supports the CEO and Board of Directors on developing strategies to move the organization towards its vision, and works with directors and managers to develop tactical plans to achieve those goals. Maia’s role includes government relations, and she works closely with local, State and Federal offices to ensure Marshall’s voice is heard on matters of legislative importance.
Maia has been passionate about community hospitals since starting her healthcare career in 2000. Prior to joining her “forever home” at Marshall, she oversaw two healthcare philanthropy organizations raising over $15 million in 3 years, served as a community development director, director of government relations, and ran a successful $97 million campaign measure to pass a district bond for seismic work.
Maia resides with her cat Wilson and too far from her two grown stepsons. She loves the natural and cultural assets of Northern California and enjoys hiking, dancing, gardening, home design and arts.
