SUMMARY:NCTRC Webinar - Digital Health in Homes and Communities: Emerging Opportunities for Patient Engagement
DESCRIPTION:Technological advances have introduced new ways to facilitate patient engagement outside clinical settings and support health monitoring and promotion of wellness in home and community settings. We discuss clinical\, technical and ethical implications of these emerging digital health trends and address theoretical and practical safeguards for patients’ and families’ autonomy and privacy. \nHosted by: Great Plains Telehealth Resource & Assistance Center (gpTRAC) \nPresented by: \nJonathan Neufeld – Program Director of the Great Plains Telehealth Resource & Assistance Center (gpTRAC) \nGeorge Demiris\, PhD\, FACMI – Penn Integrates Knowledge Professor (PIK) \n  \nREGISTER HERE
