SUMMARY:Telehealth + Artificial Intelligence: A Clear Synergy to Increase Effectiveness of Screening in Primary Care
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence (AI) programs have recently been shown to be more accurate than human experts in diagnosing diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. Real-world experiences with autonomous AI\, however\, have been discouraging due to high false positive rates\, the inability to accommodate real-world data from diverse patients\, and limited diagnostic output (often just a yes or no for a specific disease). AI\, which is designed to work with human experts\, overcomes these shortcomings and improves outcomes by shortening the time that it takes to intervene in patients who need prompt treatment. Telehealth + AI programs provide the depth and breadth of human experts while enabling immediate intervention for patients who are at high risk of complications. Presented by: Jorge Cuadros\, OD\, Ph.D.\, Clinical Professor\, and CEO | University of California\, Berkeley\, Meredith Morgan Optometric Eye Center\, and EyePACS Inc. Learning \nObjectives: \n\nGain knowledge of recent studies regarding the advantages and shortcomings of real-world AI programs\nHave an evidence-based understanding of how telehealth + AI programs can improve outcomes for patients with complications of chronic disease\nUnderstand the billing and reimbursement advantages of telehealth + AI\n\nClick Here to View the Recording \nClick Here to View the Slide Deck \nClick Here to View the Q&A Document

SUMMARY:Successful Design and Implementation of Telehealth in Schools and Libraries - Webinar

Community access points such as libraries and schools offer a great alternative to home-based telehealth\, removing those barriers. Since 2022\, Christian and his team have worked on the strategy\, design\, and implementation of telehealth services in over 10 schools and libraries connecting them with 6 clinical providers in an innovative\, provider- and technology-agnostic approach in rural North Central Washington. In this presentation focused on pragmatic guidance\, Christian and Trevor will share their approach\, best practices\, and the key lessons learned so that you can launch your own school or library telehealth services.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner]Watch Session RecordingView Presentation Slides[vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1692314355424{padding-top: 1em !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Learning Objectives” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%2378a23f” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1692314832150{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]In this presentation focused on pragmatic guidance\, Christian and Trevor will share their approach\, best practices\, and the key lessons learned so that you can launch your own school or library telehealth services.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”49714″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” animation=”rda_fadeInRight”]Watch Session RecordingView Presentation Slides[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”Presenter:” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center|color:%2378a23f” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1692314247697{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n[vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1692310176984{padding-top: 1em !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”62327″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border_circle_2″ border_color=”blue” css=””][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Christian Milaster\, MS” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%230070bc” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][vc_custom_heading text=”Ingenium Digital Health Advisors” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left|color:%23f5851f” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1692310176984{padding-top: 1em !important;}”][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”62759″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border_circle_2″ border_color=”blue” css=””][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Trevor Cunningham\, MHA\, MPH” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%230070bc” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][vc_custom_heading text=”Ingenium Digital Health Advisors” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left|color:%23f5851f” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
