She practices at a federally qualified health center\, where she is part of a language-concordant team caring for predominantly Spanish-speaking patients in their own language. She led a study across four family medicine residency programs of how resident physicians and faculty experienced an ambient AI scribe before and after it arrived in their clinics. The study earned a 2025 national award for resident research\, given jointly by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors and the North American Primary Care Research Group. A manuscript is in preparation. She taught AI and digital health at the UC Riverside School of Medicine\, serves on the advisory board of the California Telehealth Resource Center\, and is President-Elect of the Sonoma Mendocino Lake County Medical Association.
